The original cartridge has been discontinued, and in its place, a custom-designed valve has been assembled to closely match the original specifications.

Regarding the opening direction:

The opening direction of BSP cartridges can be easily adjusted by exchanging the grub screws. The longer grub screw determines the opening direction, and it's essential to ensure that two of them are installed at all times.
