Chartley Stone Thermostatic cartridge U960016AA

If the part you see is in image 3 and 4 means this part has become unscrewed from the rest of the cartridge. If you are seeing this part, it is likely that you have left the rest of the thermostatic cartridge in the valve, therefore you'll need to extract the rest of the cartridge from the valve. 

The cartridge will unscrew from the valve anti-clockwise. Unfortunately the top piece unscrews from the cartridge anti-clockwise, therefore if the entire cartridge is seized in the valve with limescale, it might need more force to unscrew than the top piece, thus the separation of the parts.

• Number of teeth on top spindle spline (which the temperature handle connects onto): 20


• Width of top spindle spline (which the temperature handle connects onto): 7.5mm


• Number of teeth of second toothed spline (which the temperature stop ring connects onto): 45


• Width of second toothed spline (which the temperature stop ring connects onto): 20mm
