The EM1 flush valve is compatible with most Roca and Laufen cisterns
Also fits most cisterns in the market
Any cistern with a height between 360-390mm (including cistern lid) and a flush button hole Ø40mm will fit with the EM1 flush valve.
No electrical installation
It works on 4 AA batteries (not included) that provides more than 40,000 flushes.
Manual battery back-up
It also works manually if the batteries run out. By just pushing the button it will provide a full flush as any conventional flush valve.
Adjustable Dual Flush
It allows the user to have full and partial flush volumes to be adjusted between 2 and 6 litres.

1 | Can you adjust the flushing and the sensor range?
The EM1 is pre-set by default to flush at 4.5/3 L. As any other conventional flushing valve, the volumes can be adjusted for full and half flush between 6 and 2 liters, depending on the requirements of each WC. Please, refer to the instructions for further details.
The sensor range is not adjustable and it will detect the movements for half/full flush within the 200 mm range. Please, keep the sensor clean and avoid putting any object above this distance:
2| How many flushes do you get if the batteries run out?
If the batteries run out the user can push the button to provide a full flush and this will operate as a conventional valve until the batteries are replaced.
3| Is there a low battery indicator?
Yes, the led of the sensor will start blinking to indicate that the batteries need replacing.
4| WillI have to replace the doughnut washer during the installation?
You would normally keep the same doughnut washer when replacing any flush valve, so it shouldn’t have to be an issue. However, if the doughnut washer is damaged and it doesn’t create a seal between the cistern and pan, it is recommended that you replace it.
